About us
Meet Troy McDaniel
Founder | Dog Behavior Consultant | Mentor
While serving time in prison, Troy McDaniel’s life changed forever when he joined the Pawsitive Change Program in 2016. This program pairs shelter dogs with incarcerated individuals to rehabilitate both. It was there that Troy discovered a gift for understanding and working with dogs—especially those others had given up on.
After his release, Troy founded Pack Runner, his first dog behavior business, and is now launching a nonprofit, Pack Hustle, aimed at mentoring at-risk youth in Solano County.
Inspired by Cesar Millan and driven by lived experience, Troy built Troy Jordan McDaniel LLC to offer families, pet professionals, and young people second chances—just like the dogs he works with.
